Physical activity in its broadest sense is any movement of the body that usesenergy which means virtually all types of activity can be beneficial includingexercise, sport, play, dance and u00b4active livingu00b4 such as walking, cycling fortransport, housework, gardening and work. The 5x50 challenge will help us torealise our vision of a more active Scotland, and help people to achieve theCMO guideline of being active for 150 minutes a week.'

5x50 Challenge started with a vision to make people who are inactive become more active. Challengers become part of something that inspires, motivates, encourages you to live a healthier lifestyle. 5x50 Challenges are open to all. Individuals or groups regardless of age, health condition/ disability or fitness level can take part.
