The Pedalling Pensioners complete LEJOG for The Brain Tumour Charity

The extract below is taken from Alistair and Bill's blog. It explains WHY they took on this mammoth challenge. The full blog can be found in full here.

We are the Pedalling Pensioners, Alastair Carr (79) and Bill Carr (68).

We had wanted to do this challenge for some time, but when we learned that Paul Young, our Great Nephew, had been diagnosed with a Glioblastoma Tumour, an aggressive brain cancer, it spurred us on!

Although this prognosis is bleak, Paul, and his wife Pamela, have assembled an army of friends and relatives to fundraise.

The goal is a treatment, not yet available on the NHS, for Paul and other patients diagnosed with this devastating condition.

Can you spare something to keep the Pedalling Pensioners spirits going? Every time they look at the total they get a huge boost, especially good when they are covering 50 to 90 miles a day!
