Our Partner Charities - how you help

5x50 is proud to support these charities with your donations, and this is how you help:

Riding for the Disabled Association

They have a network of 500 volunteer groups who organise activities such as riding, carriage driving, vaulting, showjumping and Hippotherapy to up to 28,000 people each year.

They have been carrying out life-changing activities for over 40 years, and take great pride in the exceptional standard of our instructors and volunteers (18,000 in all).

They offer activities for all age groups and, wherever possible, to people with any disability - and you're just as likely to find an RDA Group in an urban setting as a rural one.

They rely on voluntary help, donations and legacies to deliver our services.

Multiple Sclerosis Society

Multiple Sclerosis is an unpredictable and incurable neurological condition that attacks a person's nervous system. It attacks at random. MS affects around 100,000 people in the UK, with 10,000 people living with MS in Scotland. Symptoms most commonly begin to show in your 20's or 30's; these can include loss of vision, pain, fatigue and mobility issues.

The diagnosis process alone can take years - which can be a scary and heart-breaking time.

Thanks to research, there are now a range of treatments for relapsing remitting MS, though for those with progressive MS this is not an option - yet.

The MS Society is there for everyone living with, or affected by, MS. They provide practical help and support now, and the hope of a cure for the future. They are fighting for better treatment and care. They are playing a leading role in research to help beat MS. They are letting people with MS
know they're not alone, and can offer advice or support to help manage their symptoms.

It is people like you who help make our job so rewarding. Take on the 5x50 Challenge and, together, we can help beat MS.
