Put simply, the Challenge is a fun, supportive platform to get the inactive, active and the fit even fitter by committing to daily activity for 50 days.
Although the Challenge has changed in response to the needs of our growing community, its essence remains the same following the motto CHANGE HABITS, CHOOSE ACTIVE, LOVE IT!

Anywhere you like from outside to a gym class. From a swimming pool to your living room (but watching the TV doesn’t count unless you are dancing behind the ironing board).
Anyone from the youngest in the family to Gran/Grandad. Your sports team, work colleagues, school pals. Anyone whose arm you can twist to join in and get active.

This challenge started with a vision to make sport part of everyone’s daily life. Not everyone will run a marathon, however anyone can complete the 5×50 challenge and experience the physical and psychological benefits that come from taking part.
Challengers are supported via this website and our social media channels to complete their daily activities either individually or in groups. The online community will allow users to register for events, link with other challengers, receive training advice, be encouraged and supported by our network of Fivers and importantly, motivate one another to keep going over the 50 days.
5x50 Challenge started with a vision to make people who are inactive become more active. Challengers become part of something that inspires, motivates, encourages you to live a healthier lifestyle. 5x50 Challenges are open to all. Individuals or groups regardless of age, health condition/ disability or fitness level can take part.
